The Problem
Your high performers show up, deliver, and rarely ask for help. They’re the first to support a coworker or classmate in crisis. When life hits them through a loss, a health scare, a breakup, or caring for a parent, they rarely have the tools to support themselves the same way. Burnout stays hidden until someone pulls back, takes leave, or walks away. By then, you’ve lost productivity, morale, and sometimes the person.
How we help
We give your people practical skills to manage stress, set boundaries, and ask for help before they reach a breaking point. We also train your leaders and staff to spot the early signs and respond in ways that build trust. Our work serves everyone in your organization, with a specialization in Black women & girls, who are often the most relied on and the least supported.
Our services
Keynotes and speaking. Engaging talks for conferences, heritage month events, staff retreats, and campus programs. Audiences leave with language for what they’ve been carrying and steps they can use the next day.
Workshops and training series. Interactive sessions for employees, students, or members on burnout, anxiety, boundaries, perfectionism, and mental health at work and school. Available as a single session or a multi-week series.
Leadership and staff training. Skills for managers, educators, and HR teams to recognize distress early, have supportive conversations, and connect people to the right care.
Clinician training and supervision. Continuing education for therapists, counselors, and care teams who want to serve Black clients well, plus clinical supervision for pre-licensed counselors working toward licensure.
Support groups and wellness programs. Facilitated groups and guided resources, including our journal My Thoughts Belong to Me, so support continues after the event ends.
Events and conferences. Panels, retreats, and full-day conferences, hosted by Anxious Black Girls® or co-created with your organization.

Why Anxious Black Girls®
Anxious Black Girls® was founded by Deseray Wilson, LMHC, a licensed mental health counselor who has helped more than 700 Black women manage anxiety and burnout while continuing to perform at a high level. Deseray built Supervision Support, one of the largest directories of clinical supervisors, and hosted a sold-out conference for clinicians. She brings clinical depth and lived experience to every room, so your people hear from someone who understands both the pressure and the way through it.
