Terms of Use
ANXIOUS BLACK GIRLSĀ® APP: TERMS OF USE
These terms are between you and Anxious Black Girls, LLC ("we"), not Apple. By tapping "I'm 18 or older and I understand" and using the app, you agree to them.
Who can use the app
You must be 18 or older. Some articles discuss suicide, sex, pregnancy loss, and trauma.
Education and encouragement, not care
The app offers education and encouragement. It is not therapy, a diagnosis, or medical advice, and it does not replace care from a licensed professional. If you are in crisis, call 911 or call or text 988. See our Medical Disclaimer for more.
Your license
We give you a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use the app on your own iPhone for your own use. The articles, affirmations, skills, plans, audio, videos, images, and name are owned by Anxious Black Girls, LLC. You may share an affirmation, article link, or share image with others. You may not copy, scrape, sell, or republish the app's content, or reverse engineer the app.
Your content
What you write in your journal and practices belongs to you and stays on your phone. We do not access it.
Anxious Black Girls Plus
Plus is an optional subscription, available monthly or yearly. The price and length are shown on the Plus screen before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your Apple Account settings, and Restore Purchases brings Plus back on a new phone. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own rules.
Changes to the app and these terms
We may add, change, or remove features and content. If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will update this page and the effective date.
No warranty and limits on liability
The app is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the app, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for the app in the past 12 months.
Apple
Apple has no duty to provide support or maintenance for the app, and is not responsible for claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing law and contact
These terms follow the same governing law as the rest of our Terms of Use on this website. Questions: support@anxiousblackgirls.com.
